School Resource Officers

The Patrol Division has seven dedicated and trained School Resource Officers in three school districts: North Platte; West Platte; and, Park Hill. Our School Resource Officers interact with some of our youngest citizens on a daily basis. As they work tirelessly to be good role models and a safe source for information, they provide specialized presentations on issues affecting students and schools. Our School Resource Officers are the initial investigating officers for offenses reported under the Safe Schools Act, and partner with the School Administration on effective response to incidents on school grounds.
