The Platte County Communications Center provides primary, integrated communications support for 24 law enforcement, fire and EMS service agencies in Platte, Clay, Buchanan and Clinton counties. Enhanced 911 services for the Platte County and City of Smithville portions of this service area is managed from the Platte County Communications Center. The mission of the Platte County Communications Center is to provide effective and efficient multi-discipline (Law Enforcement, Fire & EMS) emergency and non-emergency service and resources to the citizens we serve. The Platte County Communications Center is staffed by dedicated communications personnel trained in this multi-discipline approach to public service.
