Subject: Missouri Sheriffs' Association 700 Hour Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy coming to Platte County

The Missouri Sheriffs' Association Training Academy in association with the Platte County Sheriff's Office, will hold a part-time 700 hour basic law enforcement training class in Platte County starting August 10, 2017 and running through June of 2018. Classes will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-10 p.m.; every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and some Sunday sessions.

Upon completion of this training, students will have their Class (A) Certification and be eligible to test for a Missouri Peace Officers License. Financial aid and college credits are available through Missouri State University - West Plains campus.
